Tile Adhesive Recipe

Here is a basic tile adhesive formula that can be used as a starting point:

Configure according to the ratio of 1000 kg of tile adhesive

Materials:

  • Portland cement (700KG)
  • Sand (300 KG)
  • Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) (2-3KG)
  • Starch ether (0.5KG)
  • RDP (8-15KG)
  • Calcium formate(5KG)It is recommended to add in winter

Instructions:

  1. Mix the dry ingredients (Portland cement and sand) together in a clean bucket or container.

  4. Allow the mixture to rest for 5 to 10 minutes to allow the HPMC to hydrate.
  5. Mix the adhesive again before use to ensure that the consistency is smooth and even.
